Fortune Telling, Numerology, and Palmistry to name but a few forms of Prophecy, have been around forever.

In ancient times, Druids foretold the future by the sun moon and stars; Witches used bones and other nasties in their potions and Seers used the spirit world.

Not much has changed since those days, except perhaps what we name our modern mystics; Astrologers still use the planets, Witch Doctors and Shaman read bones and Mediums contact the spirit world. My favourite are the Gypsies, with their wonderful Romany Caravans, crystal balls, tea leaves and tarot cards; and when their gnarled old hands grab yours to read your palm, it positively sends a shiver up your spine!
